The De-TECH Tech Challenge is an annual initiative that connects students, research staff and universities with real-world challenges posed by companies and industry partners. Each edition focuses on a specific thematic area and sets innovation challenges linked to concrete problems in the market, industry or society.

Working in international and interdisciplinary teams, participants develop creative, scientifically sound solutions with practical application potential. Proposals may address technical, economic, regulatory or combined dimensions, fostering a broad vision of innovation.

The programme enables participants to gain practical experience in entrepreneurship, technology transfer and real-world problem-solving, whilst facilitating collaboration between universities, companies and experts from the innovation ecosystem. The best teams have the opportunity to present their solutions to industrial partners and take part in a final phase of work, networking and validation of their proposals.
