Entrepreneurship Training and Mentoring Programme

The De-TECH Entrepreneurship Training and Mentoring Programme is an annual training and mentoring programme designed to strengthen entrepreneurial and innovative capabilities within the university sector, with a particular focus on deep tech projects and technologies.

It is aimed at undergraduate, master’s and PhD students, as well as academic and research staff and non-academic staff at higher education institutions. Through an online training programme lasting several weeks, participants gain practical knowledge on idea and technology commercialisation, market validation, business models, financing, intellectual property, business scaling and entrepreneurial communication.

The programme combines training sessions, short learning materials, independent study, pitch preparation and specialised mentoring with key figures from the European innovation ecosystem. Its aim is to help participants transform ideas, research outcomes or emerging technologies into projects with the potential for impact, connecting them with mentors, peers, companies and investors.

In addition to developing practical skills in entrepreneurship and innovation, the programme helps to create a European community of university talent capable of driving new deep tech solutions from research to market.
