Our Work
De-TECH is a project aimed at establishing a comprehensive process for transforming academic knowledge into innovative solutions with market potential. To this end, it first identifies promising technologies developed at partner universities through structured processes of exploration, analysis and evaluation, in collaboration with Technology Transfer Offices. From there, it connects these technologies with the real needs of businesses and society through innovation challenges that foster creativity, entrepreneurship and collaboration between universities and industry.
The programme is rounded off with an intensive phase of support for start-ups, through the De-TECH competition, which over 10 weeks offers training, mentoring and financial support to research-based projects. Participants work on key aspects such as the business model, the development of a minimum viable product and the market entry strategy, culminating in a presentation to investors at DemoDay events. Furthermore, De-TECH reinforces the entire process through interdisciplinary training in entrepreneurship and technology, aimed at students, researchers and university staff, with the aim of fostering an entrepreneurial mindset and equipping them with practical tools to lead innovation.
